Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll report to Sergej RAISING (Commodity Manager Group HQ) and work alongside dedicated Commodity Leaders and Buyers worldwide.

Youll be in charge of the procurement strategy definition and deployment. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Regional Procurement project Legal Supplier risk Quality Finance and Industrial teams) to support the groups industrial strategy through supplier excellence.

Youll specifically take care of the global suppliers relationship management but also support RFQ process and supplier negotiation.

Leading the commodity strategy

  • Acquire knowledge of regional markets and trends organize benchmarks apply cost models
  • Act as an expert with optimization of product total cost of ownership
  • Support actively transversal and sites projects execution
  • Manage supplier risks and sets appropriate mitigation plan
  • Lead commodity maturity improvement plan and the savings plan

Managing business peers and stakeholders

  • Lead the procurement network at regional level with efficient communication
  • Lead and develop relationship with regional cross-functional teams like:
    • Production Manager and Site General Manager
    • Operations & Industrial functions (welding bonding etc.)
    • EHS & CSR (Environment Health Safety)
    • Finance
    • Legal
    • Sourcing Efficiency

Deploy Procurement strategy

  • Adapt & develop the commodity strategy with all stakeholders and drives its implementation on regional level
  • Define supplier target panel in-line with Procurement strategy
  • Lead the supplier selection process
  • Perform Supplier Risk Management for global suppliers

Enhance Supplier relationship

  • Manage regional and global supplier panel relationship especially on contractualization.
  • Manage regional and global supplier Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives and performance
  • Perform regular business reviews and supplier performance reviews solve major issues
  • Drive supplier complex negotiations as appropriate
  • Support monitoring of Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations

  • Engineering or Business School master degree with specialization in Purchasing
  • Experience in procurement including commodity leadership (2 to 5 years)
  • Experience with multicultural team (minimum 2 years)
