Tasks
Your Role
As a Business Development Representative - DACH Region you will be the engine of our expansion across Germany Austria and Switzerland. Your mission Identify new potential customers across the DACH market initiate first contacts in German and generate qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team.
You will work closely with Marketing and Sales in a dynamic supportive and high-performing environment based out of our Paris office.
What Youll Do
- Prospect target accounts outbound across the DACH region (cold calling email LinkedIn etc.) primarily in German
- Qualify and reach out to inbound leads generated by marketing
- Identify the right contacts (C-level IP & legal teams R&D leads)
- Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Keep our CRM meticulously up to date
- Collaborate with Marketing to improve lead generation campaigns for the DACH market
- Actively contribute to optimizing the SDR playbook
Requirements
Who You Are
- First experience in B2B sales ideally in SaaS (internship or apprenticeship accepted - max. 2 years as a BDR)
- Native or bilingual German (C2) written and spoken. This is a hard requirement.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Based in Paris or willing to work on-site at our Paris office
- Passion for tech AI and sales - curiosity about the IP world is a big plus
- Comfortable with multi-channel prospecting (email phone social selling)
- Curious rigorous and results-oriented
- Quick learner ready to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment
- Team player with a growth mindset
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of DACH market dynamics and business culture
- Experience with tools like HubSpot LinkedIn Sales Navigator Salesloft Lemlist or similar
- Familiarity with SaaS sales cycles
- French is a plus for day-to-day team integration
