Job Summary

Prepare written pieces for communication and learning materials:

  • Attend LIWAY events meetings and workshops to prepare minutes take good-quality pictures and prepare news updates and other communication materials.
  • Participate in drafting case-stories for selected interventions within the program
  • In collaboration with the LIWAY Monitoring and Results Measurement team prepare learning materials that highlight the achievements and improvement areas of the program
  • Work with the LIWAY team and share the learning and knowledge products via different platforms including Viva SharePoint etc.
  • Support the LIWAY team and ensure the proper documentation of the program profile both in soft and hard copies.

Provide administrative support

  • Facilitate timely payments for Implementing Partners (Ips) vendors and other service providers.
    • Ensure all required documents are fulfilled
    • Submit the finalized payment request document to the finance team 
    • Follow up on PO and invoice creation on the system
    • Follow up on the approval and final payment 
  • Support the team in raising purchase requests and following up for timely delivery
  • Support the team in raising and facilitating fleet requests
  • Develop and share a monthly updated database of annual leave days taken by team members
  • Facilitate review and approval of contractual agreements
  • Facilitate review and approval of justification notes selection notes and other documents
  • Maintain an updated computerized & manual filing system for project documents
  • Prepare domestic and foreign travel arrangements itineraries compile travel vouchers and maintain travel records
  • Track record the movement of project goods/equipment into and out of the project.
  • Act as the first point of contact and liaise where appropriate with external agencies and individuals for event management including seminars & conferences.

Assume any other responsibilities relevant to the position as assigned by the Project Manager.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Economics Accounting Engineering etc.) supported by additional technical training and certifications.
  • Hands on experience dealing with MSD focused programme activities.
  • 1-2 Year Experience supporting development programmes through coordination stakeholder engagement and operational activities in multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Exposure to market-oriented and livelihoods-related initiatives with familiarity in programme implementation and support functions.
  • Strong organisational analytical and communication skills including report writing and documentation.
  • Proficiency in standard digital tools and the ability to work effectively in dynamic collaborative and multidisciplinary settings.

Contract Duration: The contract is for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.
