Role Summary

We are looking for a SeniorFullstackSoftware Engineer to architect build and scale multiple web this role you will lead end-to-end feature development across modern frontends and Python/FastAPIbackends drive automated delivery via GitLab CI onto bare-metal infrastructure and mentor junior engineers within an agile team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack Architecture & Delivery:Design implement and maintain high-performance web applications end-to-end.

• API & System Design:Architect secure scalable REST APIs and define clean integration boundaries.

• Database Management:Model relational schemas optimize queries and manage migrations using Alembic.

• DevOps & CI/CD:Maintain Dockerized application workflows and write automated build/test/deployment pipelines using GitLab CI for bare-metal hosts.

• Reliability & Observability:Integrate testing suites (unit integration E2E) and instrument production observability (metrics logs traces).

• Technical Leadership:Lead architectural discussions (RFCs) enforce code quality standards through reviews and mentor engineers across the team.

Qualifications

Must-Haves

• Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or an equivalent technical field.

• Experience:Atleast3 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications.

• Backend:Strong production proficiency inPythonFastAPI and schema migrations withAlembic.

• Frontend:Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks (Reactpreferred; Vue or Angular acceptable) and routing (React Routerpreferred; acceptable).

• Databases:Strong foundation inSQLrelational databases schema design and query optimization.

• APIs:Extensive experience designing and consuming productionREST APIs.

• DevOps & Infrastructure:Hands-on experience withDockerand deploying services onbare-metalservers.

• CI/CD & Version Control:Proficiency withGitGitLab and authoringGitLab CIpipelines.

• Automated Testing:Dedicated practice writing comprehensive test suites (e.g. Pytest Jest/Vitest Cypress/Playwright).

• Observability:Practical experience instrumenting and debugging applications using an observability stack (e.g. Prometheus Grafana OpenTelemetry ELK).

• Leadership & Process:Proven experience working in anAgileenvironment leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members.

Nice-to-Have

• Caching & In-Memory Stores:Working knowledge ofRedis(caching strategies session storage).

• Architecture:Experience with or understanding ofevent-driven architecturesand asynchronous messaging/worker patterns.

• Target Database:Specialized expertise inPostgreSQL(performance tuning indexing strategies).

• Alternative Backends:Working knowledge ofGoorTypeScript ().

• Alternative Protocols:Experience withgRPCGraphQL or legacy integrations viaSOAP.

• Systems Administration:Practical Linux systems administration and bare-metal networking fundamentals.
