Your future role

Youll play a pivotal role in managing the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for highly critical bids ensuring a winning proposal that aligns with Alstoms vision and customer needs. Day-to-day youll work closely with cross-functional teams including tender leaders project managers and subsystem bid managers to deliver accurate QCDP commitments and drive impactful outcomes.

Youll specifically take care of defining bid operational strategies and aligning them with customer requirements but also ensuring compliance with Alstoms processes ethics and safety standards.

Well look to you for:

• Coordinating internal activities to identify and understand customer needs.

• Managing the tender process ensuring compliance with Alstom rules and instructions.

• Building and overseeing the bid operational strategy and schedule for tender preparation.

• Ensuring alignment of the offered solution with customer requirements and internal product strategies.

• Preparing and maintaining tender documentation including technical descriptions compliance matrices and risk registers.

• Collaborating with tender leaders to support customer negotiations and contract preparations.

• Driving risk and opportunity reviews to ensure mitigation plans are in place.

• Contributing to the Win-Loss analysis and the preparation of the first financial project review (FPR0).

• Masters or bachelors degree in a relevant field.

• 15-20 years of experience in project or bid management with expertise in costing planning and risk management.

• Knowledge of Alstom processes including Golden Rules and Ethics & Compliance standards.

• Successful experience managing medium to highly critical bids.

• Strong understanding of financial contractual and legal aspects related to tendering.

• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams under tight deadlines and high-pressure conditions.

• Excellent communication negotiation and reporting skills.

• A high sense of anticipation and customer orientation.

• Experience in partnership setups such as consortiums or joint ventures is a plus.
