Senior Mechanical Estimator

About the Role

ICP is hiring a Mechanical Estimator for one of our clients a leading mechanical contractor. This role is focused on performing detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for ductwork piping and plumbing systems supporting largescale HVAC and mechanical construction projects.

Youll work closely with the estimating team and be fully integrated into their daily operations. This is a highimpact opportunity for an experienced mechanical professional to contribute to complex projects with a growing and respected firm.

• Perform material takeoffs for ductwork piping and plumbing systems including all relevant accessories and connections
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to create accurate cost estimates
• Use company estimation software and Excel tools to build out detailed scopes of work
• Collaborate with the U.S. estimating team on a daily basis to refine quantities review designs and ensure accuracy
• Apply knowledge of mechanical systems materials and installation methods to improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with U.S. team
• 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating with a focus on HVAC and plumbing
• Strong knowledge of duct and pipe systems accessories and connection methods
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and construction documents
• Proficient in Excel including formula creation and data organization
• Experience using takeoff and estimating software
