Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical BIM Coordinator will be responsible for the development coordination and management of BIM models for electrical systems ensuring full integration with other disciplines. This role also involves supporting project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 alongside managing model accuracy clash detection and drawing production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modelling & Coordination

• Develop update and maintain electrical BIM models in compliance with project and company standards.

• Coordinate electrical services with architectural structural and other MEP trades to ensure design integration.

• Lead clash detection and resolution processes using Navisworks Revit or other coordination tools.

• Ensure model accuracy completeness and adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP).

• Generate and manage electrical shop drawings and as-built documentation.

2. Planning & Scheduling

• Collaborate with the planning team to align BIM model progress with project schedules.

• Utilize Primavera P6 to support project planning sequencing and progress tracking.

• Provide planning insights based on model data to enhance project delivery timelines.

3. Collaboration & Quality Control

• Liaise with design engineers BIM managers and site teams to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in models.

• Conduct model audits and quality checks to maintain consistency and data integrity.

• Support the BIM Manager in preparing reports clash detection logs and coordination updates.

4. Documentation & Training

• Maintain documentation related to BIM workflows model revisions and version control.

• Mentor junior BIM modelers and share best practices for modelling and coordination.

• Our Ideal Candidate:.

• 79 years of experience in Electrical BIM coordination within MEP or construction projects.

• Strong background in BIM modelling coordination clash detection and drawing production.

• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6and project planning workflows.
