Job Summary
Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Security Systems Design Engineer position within the Security Design & Engineering function.
Role Overview
The Security Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing coordinating and delivering electronic security system designs across commercial industrial infrastructure data center and technically complex projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from design through construction support testing commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Security Systems Design
Design CCTV Access Control Intrusion Detection Perimeter Security Intercom VMS PSIM SOC and integrated security systems
Prepare technical drawings specifications schematics BOMs equipment schedules and network architecture diagrams
Ensure designs are accurate compliant and aligned with project requirements
Design & Coordination
Develop system layouts equipment selections cable requirements security zoning and system interfaces
Coordinate designs with Architecture MEP ICT BIM CAD contractors and project teams
Review AutoCAD drawings Revit models layouts and coordination drawings
Project Support
Support technical queries RFIs design changes site coordination testing commissioning and handover
Participate in client meetings technical workshops and design reviews
Support integration with BMS Fire & Life Safety ICT OT and third-party systems
Pre-Sales Support
Support technical proposals preliminary designs equipment selection Bills of Materials and solution development
Ensure proposed solutions are technically practical and deliverable
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Electronic Engineering Electrical Engineering Security Systems ICT Telecommunications or related field
48 years of relevant experience in electronic security systems design
Strong experience with CCTV Access Control VMS Intrusion Detection and integrated security systems
Experience in multidisciplinary engineering and construction environments
Experience preparing technical documentation and supporting testing commissioning and handover
Technical Expertise
Experience with platforms such as Genetec LenelS2 Gallagher Milestone Avigilon Axis Hanwha Vision and Bosch is highly relevant.
Preferred Certifications
SIRA Genetec Gallagher LenelS2 Milestone Axis CPTED Revit or BIM certifications are preferred.
