Job Description
The Salesforce Developer at Capgemini is responsible for designing developing and maintaining customized Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and platform best practices. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) integrations and Salesforce architecture to deliver high-quality scalable and secure solutions.
The developer will collaborate closely with functional consultants architects and crossfunctional teams within Capgeminis global delivery model to support endtoend Salesforce implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain Salesforce customizations including:
- Apex classes and triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWCs)
- Visualforce pages (where applicable)
- Build scalable and secure integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST SOAP)
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and implement Salesforce data models sharing rules and security structures
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce and Capgemini development best practices
- Support release management and deployments using CI/CD tools
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for technical designs configurations and solution architecture
- Stay current with Salesforce releases features and development standards and proactively recommend improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Proficiency in Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) SOQL and Salesforce APIs
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture governor limits and security model
- Experience working with integrations and data migration activities
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in distributed and cross-functional teams
