Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the telecommunications infrastructure and power sectors.
- Build maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and implement customer visit plans and sales activities.
- Identify qualify and follow up on new sales opportunities and projects.
- Negotiate commercial and technical terms with customers until successful order closure.
- Prepare quotations technical proposals and commercial offers in accordance with customer requirements and company policies.
2. Technical Sales Support
- Assess customer requirements and recommend the most suitable battery and power solutions.
- Select appropriate battery technologies and configurations based on application requirements.
- Deliver technical presentations and explain product features benefits and competitive advantages.
- Review technical specifications tender documents and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer specifications.
3. Project & Customer Management
- Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate order execution with the relevant internal departments.
- Coordinate with installation commissioning and service teams whenever required.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve technical and commercial issues on time.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
4. Market Analysis & Business Intelligence
- Monitor competitors pricing strategies market trends and new technologies.
- Prepare periodic reports on market activities customer feedback and sales opportunities.
- Participate in exhibitions industry events seminars and customer presentations.
- Recommend new products solutions or market opportunities based on customer needs and market demand.
5. Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering:
- Customer visits and sales activities.
- Sales opportunities and project pipeline.
- Sales achievements against targets.
- Sales forecasts.
- Customer and project status updates.
Authority
- Communicate directly with customers regarding technical and commercial matters.
- Prepare quotations within the approved pricing and commercial authority.
- Negotiate within delegated authority levels.
- Represent the company during customer meetings technical presentations and project discussions.
- Submit recommendations regarding pricing product selection and commercial strategies to management.
Requirements
Technical Knowledge
Good knowledge of:
- VRLA Batteries
- Lithium-Ion Batteries
- OPzS and OPzV Batteries
- DC Power Systems
- Rectifiers and Battery Chargers
- UPS Systems
- Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS)
- Telecom power infrastructure
- Reading technical specifications drawings and tender documents
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics
