Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership organizational and technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside a collaborative skilled and dynamic team of professionals.
Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful introduction of products for the Cairo Monorail project. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering quality planning and EHS) manage resources and deliverables and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and much more.
Youll specifically take care of overseeing the implementation of Product Introduction (PI) processes and instructions but also ensure effective planning team coordination and adherence to project timelines.
Well look to you for:
Ensuring PI processes and instructions are implemented communicated and adhered to by internal teams and external stakeholders including customers.
Maintaining and updating the PI Management Plan to reflect all team activities.
Ensuring sufficient and adequately skilled resources are available and that the competency matrix for PI personnel is up to date organizing additional training as needed.
Overseeing the timely delivery of PI-related deliverables in accordance with contracts and standards through effective planning communication and control.
Collaborating with the planning engineer to develop short- and long-term plans for remaining PI activities.
Conducting daily planning reviews with teams to monitor progress and address any challenges.
Ensuring workshop infrastructure tools and equipment are adequate to support PI activities.
Ensuring timely availability of materials required for work orders.
Ensuring all work complies with proper permits Maximo work orders work instructions and configuration follow-up.
Ensuring closure of both internal and customer snag lists.
Managing and supporting the assigned PI staff.
Ensuring the execution of internal and external audits and assessments.
Promoting and ensuring adherence to Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and customer EHS requirements for all site activities with support from the EHS team.
Taking responsibility for the full team in the absence of the Rolling Stock PI Director.

Degree in engineering project management or a related field.
Experience or understanding of product introduction processes in the rail or similar industries.
Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
Familiarity with quality and EHS standards and compliance requirements.
A project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
