We are looking for an experiencedProject Coordinatorwith strong exposure tomarine coastal port waterfront or large-scale infrastructure projectsto support the successful delivery of a major project in Egypt.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project coordination documentation reporting progress tracking and stakeholder follow-up within aPMC consultant client-side or large construction project environment.
This role requires strong coordination skills attention to detail and the ability to work closely with project managers consultants contractors technical teams and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Support project managers and senior project team members in day-to-day project coordination activities.
Coordinate between consultants contractors internal teams site teams and other project stakeholders.
Track project progress action items deliverables issues and follow-ups.
Assist in preparing daily weekly and monthly project reports.
Maintain project documentation meeting minutes trackers logs and correspondence records.
Support scheduling progress monitoring and coordination with planning/project controls teams.
Follow up on pending actions approvals submissions and stakeholder responses.
Assist in tracking project risks issues interfaces and change-related items.
Support coordination across multiple packages disciplines or workstreams.
Ensure project information is updated organized and shared with the relevant stakeholders.
Help maintain clear communication between technical commercial planning and construction teams
Preferred Experience
Experience on large-scale marine coastal port infrastructure or waterfront development projects.
Previous work with reputable PMC/consultants or contractors such as Hill International AECOM Parsons Dar WSP Jacobs Egis Khatib & Alami Mott MacDonald AtkinsRéalis Archirodon BESIX Orascom Construction Hassan Allam Arab Contractors China Harbour Engineering Van Oord Boskalis Jan De Nul NMDC or similar companies.
Experience in Egypt GCC Red Sea Mediterranean coastal or North Coast projects is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-package project environment.
Requirements
Bachelors degree inCivil Engineering Marine Engineering Coastal Engineering Construction Management or a related discipline.
810 years of total experiencein project coordination project engineering or construction coordination.
Minimum7 years of relevant experiencemay be considered if the candidate has strong marine or coastal project exposure.
Previous experience inmarine coastal port marina waterfront dredging reclamation quay wall jetty breakwater seawall or coastal protection projectsis highly preferred.
Experience working with aPMC engineering consultant supervision consultant client representative or large international contractoris preferred.
Strong project reporting documentation and follow-up skills.
Good understanding of construction project workflows approvals submissions and coordination processes.
Experience supporting project schedules progress tracking and action logs.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across different disciplines.
Strong communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.
PMP certification or working towards PMP is an advantage.
