Product Design (Office Furniture)

FlakeTech is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our growing this role you will be responsible for designing innovative office furniture products from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop functional aesthetically appealing and manufacturable products that meet customer needs and align with FlakeTechs brand standards.

• Design and develop new office furniture products from concept to production.
  
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
  
• Create technical drawings production files and product specifications.
  
• Collaborate with production procurement and engineering teams to ensure product feasibility.
  
• Develop prototypes and participate in product testing and continuous improvement.
  
• Modify existing products based on customer feedback and business requirements.
  
• Ensure designs comply with quality safety and manufacturing standards.
  
• Research market trends materials and innovative furniture solutions.
  
• Support cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product quality.
  
• Maintain organized design documentation and version control.
  

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Design Product Design Mechanical Engineering Architecture or a related field.
  
• 2 years of experience in product or furniture design.
  
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  
• Experience with furniture manufacturing processes and production drawings.
  
• Good understanding of materials fittings and furniture construction.
  
• Strong visualization and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  
• Good communication skills.
  
• English proficiency is preferred.
