Planning & Controls Engineer.
Job Summary
We are constantly growing and are currently looking for two (2) full of potential and reliable Planning & Controls Engineers to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team for two of our major projects in Egypt.

What you will need to do:
Planning & Scheduling
- Develop maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline schedules work breakdown structures (WBS) resource-loaded schedules and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project managers site engineers procurement teams and subcontractors to ensure schedule alignment.
- Analyze project activities critical paths float consumption and schedule risks.
Project Controls
- Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify deviations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports dashboards and performance indicators.
- Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) and productivity assessments.
- Track project milestones and recommend corrective actions to address delays.
Cost Control
- Monitor project costs commitments and budget performance.
- Assist in forecasting project costs cash flow requirements and resource utilization.
- Support the preparation of cost reports and variance analyses.
- Review subcontractor progress and support payment certification processes.
Risk & Change Management
- Identify schedule and cost risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Evaluate extension of time (EOT) claims and variations from a planning perspective.
- Support change management processes by assessing schedule and cost impacts.
Coordination & Reporting
- Attend project review meetings and provide schedule and performance updates.
- Coordinate with engineering procurement construction and commercial teams.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project control standards.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil Engineering is preferred) from an accredited university.
- 57 years of experience in planning and project controls within civil construction projects.
- Previous experience with civil construction contractors is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 Project Control Cost Control Risk Management Change Management Delay Analysis and Contract Administration.
- Experience in medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 MS Office applications and AutoCAD.
- PMP PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent command of English.
