Pastry Commis 2 Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile

• Assist in the preparation and baking of breads pastries cakes and other bakery items.
• Follow standard recipes portion controls and presentation specifications.
• Support the Sr. Chef and Bakery team in daily mise-en-place.
• Ensure all baked products are consistent in quality taste and appearance.
• Maintain proper storage labeling and rotation of all bakery ingredients.
• Uphold hygiene sanitation and safety standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (mixers ovens proofers etc.).
• Assist with inventory control stock replenishment and waste reduction.
• Work closely with the team to ensure timely preparation for buffet setups events and daily service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in bakery or pastry (hotel experience preferred)

• Basic knowledge of baking techniques dough handling and pastry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
• Positive attitude teamwork skills and willingness to learn.

Additional Information :

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
