Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain material requirement plans based on production schedules and sales forecasts.
Coordinate with procurement warehouse and production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials (fabrics trims accessories etc..
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment as needed to avoid material shortages or excess stock.
Issue purchase requisitions for required materials in line with production timelines.
Analyze supplier performance and lead times to optimize procurement schedules.
Collaborate with design merchandising and production teams to understand material specifications and usage.
Track material usage during production and update system records to maintain accurate stock levels.
Maintain material planning reports and dashboards for internal reviews.
Support costsaving initiatives by identifying material waste or overstock risks.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery requirements for all materials.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3 4 years of experience as a Material Planner preferably in a garment or textile manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of clothing production processes and material consumption cycles.
Familiarity with fabric types trims and garment accessories.
Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP Oracle or similar).
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
