A Logistics Coordinator with 3 years of experience is responsible for managing and overseeing the efficient movement storage and distribution of goods and materials within a company. They coordinate between suppliers warehouses transporters and customers to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to use IT systems for tracking and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure smooth logistics processes.
- Manage inventory levels using digital and IT systems to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Liaise with suppliers transport companies and warehouse teams to schedule shipments and deliveries.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays damages or discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipping receiving and inventory.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage and handling of goods.
- Negotiate with suppliers and transporters to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Provide regular reports on logistics performance for management.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with logistics software and inventory management systems.
