Role Overview
The Instructional Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing designing and developing engaging digital learning materials. This role will collaborate with subject matter experts content developers and multimedia teams to deliver courses that enhance learner engagement retention and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop instructionally sound interactive eLearning courses videos and digital content.
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to structure and transform technical or professional content into clear learner-friendly modules.
Develop storyboards course scripts assessments and interactive exercises aligned with measurable learning objectives.
Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline Rise Captivate or Camtasia for creating multimedia-rich eLearning content.
Integrate and test learning content on LMS platforms ensuring compatibility with SCORM/xAPI standards.
Apply adult learning principles and frameworks such as ADDIE SAM and Blooms Taxonomy to guide instructional design.
Design formative and summative assessments case studies and scenario-based learning activities.
Collaborate with multimedia design and technology teams to ensure a seamless learner experience.
Review and continuously improve content based on learner feedback and performance data.
Maintain consistency accessibility (WCAG/ADA) and brand alignment across all learning materials.

Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Instructional Design Education Learning Technologies or related field.
25 years of experience in instructional design eLearning or corporate training content development.
Strong working knowledge of LMS platforms
Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Captivate or Vyond.
Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards learning analytics and instructional frameworks.
Excellent written communication and visualization skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred
Experience in video scripting editing and voice-over coordination.
Exposure to AI-based learning or gamified course design.
Experience developing professional certification or corporate learning programs.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for eLearning environments.

Required Skills:
A bachelors degree in a related field such as business marketing or education. Proven 1-3 years experience in sales ideally in the training and education industry. Knowledge of training and development programs and their impact on individuals and organizations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Effective negotiation and presentation abilities. Self-motivated goal-oriented and capable of working independently. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software. Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and events. A deep understanding of the BOs programs and their alignment with Student needs. Adaptability and a quick learning ability to understand new training offerings.
