As a cybersecurity generalist at PwC you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions and experience across various domains maintaining the protection of client systems and data. You will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to address diverse security challenges effectively.

As an Associate in our Technology Audit & Assurance team you will support engagements that help clients understand and strengthen their technology environment IT controls cyber posture and process integrity. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams across the Middle East and Europe delivering highquality work while using industryleading digital audit tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of IT audit and technology assurance procedures under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Perform business data preparation and initial analyses including reviewing securityrelevant system settings and authorizations
  • Participate in reviews of IT general controls (ITGC) application controls cybersecurity and IT risk management domains.
  • Assist in testing business processes internal control systems and IT systems and document findings clearly.
  • Contribute to process optimization recommendations and help identify improvement opportunities for clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with teams across regions especially when supporting German clients and engagements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or related field.
  • Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • German Speaking is a plus.
  • Interest in IT audit cybersecurity and risk assurance.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of ITGC ISO standards NIST COBIT or related frameworks.
  • Experience with data analytics scripting or audit tools is a plus.
