ETCS Maintenance Lead (Temporary up to 24 months)

In this role youll:

Lead the coordination of monitoring triaging and resolving faults across the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 and its sub-systems including onboard trackside telecommunication and traffic management system.

Youll work closely with engineering teams across all disciplines vendors and stakeholders to ensure safety reliability and operational performance in a 24/7 environment.

Youll coordinate fault diagnosis and incident response outages root cause analysis and provide clear performance reporting. Along the way youll build expertise through extensive training and hands-on involvement in system integration and operational readiness activities. This is your opportunity to drive collaboration across disciplines while supporting the rollout of world-class rail technology as part of Sydney Trains Digital Systems Program.

This is a temporary fixed-term opportunity for up to 24 months working within a 24/7 operational environment. While the role will eventually operate on a rotating roster to support continuous 24/7 operations the first six months will be dedicated to comprehensive training and onboarding. During this initial period youll work standard hours as you build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this critical role.

This role is based in Alexandria and requires an on-site work presence.
