Job Summary

Role Purpose
The Entrepreneurship Specialist is the founders day-to-day point of contact inside the Incubation & Support team. The role keeps cohorts moving: onboarding founders running bootcamp and mentorship schedules tracking milestone progression and getting ventures demo-day ready. It suits someone early in their career who wants deep hands-on exposure to early-stage startups and the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Founder Onboarding and Cohort Support
Onboard selected startups and social enterprises: orientation sessions coordinating program agreements expectations tooling access and communication channels.
Act as first responder for start-ups questions and blockers and triage requests to mentors trainers or program leadership.
Maintain and continuously update founder start-ups profiles contact data documentation and deliverable submissions in the program database and CRM.
2. Bootcamp and Mentorship Coordination
Create and run the bootcamp workshop and mentorship calendar: scheduling trainer and mentor confirmations session briefs attendance tracking and follow-up actions.
Coordinate mentor-founder session logistics capture session notes and action items and ensure completion and full commitment of start-ups.
Prepare training materials worksheets templates and session rooms or virtual sessions; ensure Arabic and English materials are ready as needed.
3. Milestone and Progress Tracking
Track each ventures milestones and maintain progress trackers.
Present organized and cleaned participant and milestone data to the M&E Specialist for KPI tracking and donor reporting.
4. Business Modelling and Pitch Support
Coach founders on early-stage fundamentals
Review and give structured feedback on pitch decks one-pagers and financial basics; run pitch rehearsals and mock Q&A.
Prepare ventures for demo day and investor or partner showcases: narrative deck quality demo readiness and follow-up materials.
5. Event Logistics and Ecosystem Engagement
Support the delivery of demo days open calls info sessions community events and field activities in Cairo and Upper Egypt governorates (Minya Assiut Sohag Qena Luxor Aswan) venue materials attendee management run-of-show and on-site coordination.
Help source and screen applicants during open calls and support selection logistics and committee scheduling.
Map and maintain relationships with hubs universities mentors service providers and ecosystem players relevant to cohort needs.
6. Reporting and Travel
Reports to the Incubation & Support lead. Based in Cairo with travel to program governorates during bootcamps and field activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Marketing or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of operational experience working with early-stage startups and founders in a comparable role.
  • Working knowledge of the Egyptian and regional startup scene: key hubs funders competitions support programs and the realities facing early-stage founders outside Greater Cairo.
  • Solid understanding of business modelling and early-stage methodology: Business Model Canvas Lean Startup customer discovery MVP thinking basic financial modelling and unit economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to review pitch decks and give clear structured constructive feedback.
  • Excellent organizational skills: managing multiple schedules mentors founders and deadlines at once with strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in Arabic and English written and spoken; comfortable presenting to founders and partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Willingness to travel within Egypt including Upper Egypt governorates and to work occasional evenings or weekends during bootcamps and demo days.
