Director of Quality Assurance

Connectalents the leading recruitment and HR solutions company in MENA region is seeking to hire "Director of Quality Assurance in 6 Of OctoberGiza for premier financial services group operating as an investment bank and universal bank in the Middle East North Africa (MENA).

Job Role:

1. Define and govern the organizations Quality Assurance strategy including quality frameworks testing standards and release validation requirements across all technology platforms.
   
2. Oversee end-to-end quality assurance and release validation processes ensuring all software releases meet established quality gates prior to deployment.
   
3. Monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) analyze defect trends and testing coverage and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing effectiveness.
   
4. Establish and maintain standardized testing methodologies covering functional integration regression system and performance testing ensuring consistent implementation across all products.
   
5. Lead the adoption of test automation frameworks and ensure automated testing is integrated into development pipelines to improve testing coverage efficiency and release reliability.
   
6. Drive the adoption of AI-assisted testing practices by promoting the use of AI tools for test generation defect analysis quality insights and investigation activities while monitoring AI utilization across the QA function.
   
7. Provide the IT Management Team with regular reports on quality performance release readiness major defects and risks that may impact delivery timelines or system stability.
   
8. Collaborate with Development Product Infrastructure Information Security Database and DevOps teams to embed quality assurance practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure requirements are testable and releases remain stable.
   
9. Manage the development of the Quality Assurance team in collaboration with HR ensuring skills methodologies and testing tools remain aligned with evolving technologies and business requirements.
   
10. Ensure compliance with SDLC governance by maintaining adherence to Quality Assurance standards testing policies and established quality practices across all technology platforms.
    
11. Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
    
12. Complete all mandatory AML/CTF training requirements within the prescribed timelines.
    
13. Respond promptly to AML CTF and sanctions-related inquiries as required.
    

What We Need

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
   
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance including at least 6 years leading Quality Assurance teams.
   
3. Proven experience building leading and developing Quality Assurance organizations while delivering high-quality outcomes across complex software platforms.
   
4. Experience working within large software organizations or global technology companies supporting multiple products and diverse technology environments.
   
5. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies quality governance and enterprise Quality Assurance standards.
   
6. Demonstrated experience implementing test automation strategies and modern software testing practices.
   
7. Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and emerging Quality Assurance automation technologies.
   
8. Strong analytical problem-solving and defect investigation capabilities.
   
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
   
10. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams and manage several quality initiatives simultaneously.
