About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales experience working within startup environments and a strong understanding of the GCC market.
This role is ideal for a hunter who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys building new business opportunities and has experience selling technology solutions to clients across Saudi Arabia UAE Qatar Kuwait Bahrain and Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC region.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of enterprise and mid-market clients.
- Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
- Conduct client meetings product demonstrations and business presentations.
- Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value deals.
- Collaborate with Marketing Product and Customer Success teams to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- 5 years of Business Development or Enterprise Sales experience.
- Proven experience selling SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
- Strong experience selling to GCC clients particularly Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers and closing enterprise deals.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot Salesforce Zoho or similar.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the GCC when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of decision-makers across the GCC.
- Experience selling AI HRTech FinTech ERP CRM Digital Transformation or Enterprise Software solutions.
- Experience working with subscription-based business models.
