Job Summary

Own our clients business development pipeline end-to-end from identifying new revenue opportunities to closing institutional partnerships. This role is the commercial engine for hospital contracts corporate training deals international expansion leads and strategic sponsorships that feed directly into the companys EGP 12.3M commercial target.

The BD Lead operates as the first closer in our clients commercial function working directly with the CEO on high-value deals while building the systems and pipeline that will scale under a future Commercial Director.

Core Responsibilities

1. Hospital & Institutional Partnerships

  • Identify approach and close new hospital training contracts (target: 30 active contracts)
  • Negotiate contract terms pricing and batch scheduling with hospital administration
  • Manage renewal pipeline for existing contracts flag at-risk accounts 60 days before expiry
  • Build relationships with medical education departments and clinical training coordinators
  • Map university medical faculties for new partnership development

2. Corporate & B2B Sales

  • Develop B2B pipeline for corporate training packages and group enrollments
  • Identify pharmaceutical companies medical device firms and healthcare organizations as training sponsors
  • Build and present commercial proposals for institutional bulk purchases
  • Own the CRM pipeline for all B2B opportunities (Zoho CRM)

3. International Business Development

  • Support expansion into international markets (Yemen active Sudan pipeline)
  • Research and qualify new country opportunities in MENA region
  • Coordinate with International Business Manager on cross-border deal logistics
  • Target: contribute to international revenue of EGP 1.125M (Yemen 2026)

4. Sponsorship & Events Revenue

  • Secure sponsors for PYS 2027 (target: 30 sponsors EGP 2.5M event revenue)
  • Build sponsor packages and pricing tiers for medical education events
  • Manage sponsor relationships from proposal through post-event reporting
  • Identify co-branding and co-marketing opportunities with healthcare brands

5. Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Maintain weekly updated CRM with all active opportunities stages and expected close dates
  • Produce weekly BD report for CEO: pipeline value conversion rates deals at risk
  • Track and report on lead-to-close cycle time by channel
  • Build and maintain a prospect database of hospitals corporates and institutions across Egypt


Requirements

Must Have

  • 35 years in business development institutional sales or partnerships in healthcare/education
  • Proven track record closing B2B deals with hospitals universities or corporate clients
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Experience managing a CRM-driven sales pipeline
  • Fluent Arabic and professional English
  • Willingness to travel across Egypt for hospital and institutional visits

Nice to Have

  • Network within Egyptian hospital administration or medical education sector
  • Experience with sponsorship sales for events or conferences
  • Background in healthcare medical education or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with international B2B sales in MENA region
