Assistant Chief Engineer Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair planning to ensure the hotel building is safe and efficiently maintained.
• Ensuring safety security and compliance are maintained at the highest levels.
• Providing water heat lighting and power for the entire hotel.
• Ensuring all safety rules and regulations are complied with and reporting progress to the Director of Engineering.
• Develops and implements administrative standards procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency safety and prompt service to internal and external guests
• Assists in managing the physical plant including equipment refrigeration HVAC plumbing water treatment electrical and life safety systems.
• Recommends or arranges for additional services such as painting repair work renovations and the replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of Engineering and related departments.
• Ensures by spot checks that preventative maintenance program is followed as it is implemented
• Places orders for routine maintenance items
• Be a member of the Health and Safety program of the hotel and make sure rules regulations and policies are being followed by colleagues

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in engineering 
• 3 years experience in maintenance Engineering into Hospitality industry
•  Strong Leadership skills with previous experience of managing a team
• First Aid Certificate
