AC Maintenance Technician

**Responsibilities**

**Daily Operations & Maintenance:**

• Keep all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment running smoothly and looking great
• Check major air handling units regularly to ensure theyre performing brilliantly and filters are spotless
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air handling units and refrigeration equipment according to schedulethink of it as keeping everything in tip-top shape before problems arise
• Monitor temperatures in all refrigerated stores daily and inspect condensing units to ensure everythings functioning perfectly
• Carry out repairs to air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment whenever needed

• Master all workplace safety regulations and follow them meticulouslywe take health and safety seriously and so should you
• Maintain excellent cleanliness at your work area and leave spaces spotless after completing tasks
• Present yourself professionally especially when working in guest areas
• Embrace occupational health and safety measures and actively participate in all related initiatives
• Champion environmental responsibility by minimising waste reducing chemical usage and supporting our sustainability efforts
• Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and help implement decisions that reduce our facilitys environmental footprint
• Handle chemicals safely and responsibly following all legal requirements
• Support our quality management systems and help us maintain the highest standards

**Team Contribution:**

• Pitch in with any additional work required by the Technical Service Department
• Take on any other duties assigned by managers and hotel management to support our teams success

Qualifications :

**Qualifications**

• **Education:** Technical high school diploma or vocational qualification
• **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of practical experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration maintenance
• **Computer Literacy:** Required
• **Skills & Training:** Proficiency with standard tools and equipment specific to HVAC systems. Relevant certification (apprenticeship or semi-skilled certification) preferred. Strong technical knowledge of maintenance methods techniques and processes required
