1EM7608HV Inverter System Engineer
Giza Egypt (EG)

We are seeking a skilled HV Inverter System Engineer with 6 years of hands-on experience in HV Inverter development or 10 years in automotive/embedded engineering. Strong expertise in high-voltage systems power electronics motor controls system architecture vehicle integration testing troubleshooting application development and calibration. Proficiency in Vector tools CANape and CRETA is required. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink JIRA Polarion circuit design and control algorithms is an advantage.

Role Description:
  • Responsible for the development integration and technical validation of High Voltage (HV) Inverter systems for automotive applications.
  • Work across the full inverter development lifecycle including system architecture requirements application development calibration system testing and troubleshooting.
  • Support the integration of HV Inverter systems with the vehicle electric motor and other relevant vehicle systems.
  • Analyze and resolve system-level issues related to HV systems power electronics motor controls and inverter performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure proper system integration functionality performance and compliance with HV safety and certification requirements.
  • Perform system testing debugging and root-cause analysis of inverter-related issues.
  • Utilize engineering and calibration tools such as Vector tools CANape and CRETA for development diagnostics testing and calibration activities.
  • Contribute to technical documentation system requirements validation activities and engineering change processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of inverter system performance functionality and reliability throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in HV Inverter development (with a total of 10 years of experience in automotive/embedded engineering.)
  • Proven hands-on experience in automotive HV Inverter development Inverter System Architecture & System Requirements Management.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • High Voltage systems and HV safety/certification
    • Power electronics and power modules
    • Motor controls
    • System architecture
    • Vehicle integration
    • System testing and troubleshooting
    • Application development
    • Inverter calibration
  • Proficiency with Vector tools CANape and CRETA.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit diagrams.
  • Experience with application software and control algorithms is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink JIRA and Polarion is preferred.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams in an automotive development environment.
