About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer within the Science Industry & Technology team you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable mechanical building services solutions across complex and technically demanding projects. Working as part of multidisciplinary teams you will lead the design and coordination of mechanical systems from concept through construction and commissioning.

You will collaborate closely with architects engineers contractors clients and stakeholders to develop high-performance solutions across Mission Critical Healthcare Science Industrial and Technology sectors. This role offers significant exposure to technically challenging projects international collaboration and long-term career development within a globally recognized engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical building services systems including HVAC cooling heating public health fire suppression and related infrastructure from concept through project completion.
  • Deliver coordinated mechanical design solutions within multidisciplinary BIM environments.
  • Collaborate closely with architects engineers contractors clients authorities and utility providers to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in project planning technical coordination and design reviews throughout all project phases.
  • Prepare engineering calculations technical reports specifications and design documentation.
  • Present technical solutions and project recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards regulations quality requirements and sustainability objectives.
  • Support project delivery through installation testing commissioning and project closeout activities.
  • Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and mentoring within the engineering team.
  • Participate in projects across Denmark and international locations as required.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering design.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Services Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience within building services consulting or engineering design.
  • Experience working on Science Industry & Technology Mission Critical Healthcare Data Centre or related complex engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC cooling heating ventilation public health and building services design principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards regulations and design codes within Denmark and/or Scandinavia.
  • Experience using mechanical design calculation and engineering software tools.
  • Proficiency with BIM environments and Revit.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and technical design capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Danish Swedish or Norwegian.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
