About the Role

As a Development Engineer you will be responsible for developing optimizing and standardizing manufacturing processes to support operational excellence across NOVs manufacturing operations. Working closely with Production Quality Maintenance Planning and R&D teams you will identify opportunities to improve productivity reduce costs enhance product quality and support the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.

This role combines hands-on production support with strategic process development and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with global teams and act as a technical resource to support manufacturing performance process stability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Improve and optimize manufacturing processes across global production sites.
  • Solve complex production challenges and provide hands-on technical support.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency quality and cost performance.
  • Support the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Partner with Operations Quality Maintenance Planning and R&D teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Analyze production data and turn insights into measurable improvements.
  • Develop and maintain process standards and technical documentation.
  • Share expertise and support the development of engineers and technicians.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Quality and HSE standards.
  • Support manufacturing teams worldwide with a customer-focused mindset.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Were looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in Process Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes equipment and process monitoring.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience using data to drive process improvements and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English written and spoken and preferred Danish.
