Job Summary

Would you like to be part of the factory of the future and help drive technological development in a fully automated production environment Do you want to work in a strong automation team where collaboration and innovation are key to solving complex business challenges Then you could be our new Automation Engineer in GMS IT DPM in Hillerød.

Your new role

As an Automation Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled automation team supporting and developing fully automated assembly and packaging lines. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring stable compliant and futureready production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and developing automation systems to ensure high operational availability in production.
  • Executing projects and solving complex technical challenges in close collaboration with specialists and technicians across departments.
  • Continuously developing your technical knowledge to challenge existing solutions and contribute to future improvements.
  • Working in compliance with quality standards and GMP requirements including preparation of required documentation.
  • Participating in an offhours oncall hotline on a rotating basis to support 24/7 production.

The role offers flexibility in planning your workday balanced with the dynamic nature of a productioncritical environment.

Your new department

You will join GMS IT DPM Hillerød part of the Global IT organisation at Novo Nordisk. The department covers Operational Technology IT service level management system management and infrastructure.
You will be part of a unit characterised by strong collaboration and a positive team spirit working together to support optimise and further develop IT and automation solutions that are essential to production.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who brings both technical competence and a proactive mindset.

Ideally you have:

  • A bachelors or masters degree within automation or a related engineering discipline.
  • Handson experience working with complex automation systems in an industrial or production environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with PLCs.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • An analytical structured approach and a clear understanding of business needs.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and across functions at all organisational levels.

Experience with FactoryTalk View or Rockwell as well as project execution robotics or process optimisation is considered an advantage but not a requirement.

What we offer

Salary: For this role the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570200 to 838100 DKK corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidates skills competencies knowledge and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include shortterm and/or longterm incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level location functional area and relevant market benchmarks.

About Company

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
