About the Role
SPX Flow is looking for aSenior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Brno Czech Republic. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who is passionate about mechanical design process engineering and industrial manufacturing within the food dairy brewery and hygienic processing industries.
Working alongside Process Engineers Automation Engineers Project Managers and Sales teams you will contribute to the successful delivery of major capital projects from concept design through manufacturing and site installation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop mechanical designs for process plants and hygienic processing systems.
Produce detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings including:
Plant Layouts
Piping Layouts
Piping Isometrics
Foundation Drawings
Equipment Drawings
Fabrication Drawings
Create material take-offs and engineering documentation.
Interpret customer specifications and contractual requirements to develop detailed technical solutions.
Support project execution activities within budget and project timelines.
Conduct site surveys and provide installation and commissioning support when required.
Assist with equipment evaluation technical documentation and procurement activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Provide technical support to the Sales department during proposal and project development stages.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Food Technology or a related engineering discipline.
02 years of experience in mechanical design process engineering or industrial plant design.
Knowledge of process plant layouts and piping design within food beverage dairy chemical or hygienic industries.
Experience using AutoCAD and 3D design software.
Ability to convert basic design concepts into detailed manufacturing and installation drawings.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
