Quality Manager

Position Summary:

With minimal supervision this position is responsible for ensuring all products are produced to specification and in compliance with the

requirements dictated by the governing body within the country they are marketed. Establishing the local QA Teams annual objective

corresponding financial plan and their development plans. Furthermore quality oversight and management of utilized suppliers.

Essential Functions:

Participating in establishing local quality objectives budget & support development of annual Operations Plan with manufacturing mgmt.

Utilizes computer systems for managing the quality units (Success Factors SAP Minitab Microsoft etc.).

Leads and manages the Quality Team in Teplice

Develops motivates the team and provide strong coaching and mentoring to his direct reports and assure for all QA Team members.

Insures that organizational systems and training is in place.

Ensures compliance with all relevant regulators IFS-HPC BRC-CP ISO 9001 & ISO 22716 requirements.

Minimizes the risk and exposure to non-conformances and compliance gaps.

Assures that corrective actions are taken to eliminate the causes of non-conforming product.

Determines and reports the principal cause of failures and non-conformance.

Oversight of all quality investigations to ensure timely closure.

Conducts Management Reviews of the Quality Management System.

Plans executes and evaluates continuous improvement in quality assuring tasks and process control.

Monitors the quality capability of the plant and its suppliers and assures that the quality systems are effective.

Ensuring that documentation and design controls are appropriate for organization.

Professional and collaborative communication with all levels of the business (e.g. R&D Engineering Ops Procurement Marketing)

Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills

Attends leadership meetings to represent the quality group at the site and within the EMEA QA Leadership Team

Executes special assignments with minor direction until completion

Demonstrates ability to track projects and to complete on time

Education and Experience:

9 years of related quality experience within a manufacturing environment/plant ideal from the CPG industry

Key competency skills in decision making teamwork influence flexibility collaboration customer focus achieving results and initiative
