At CGI we are currently hiring a Senior QA profile with a high level of English to work on an international banking sector project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering Software Engineering or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 6 years of relevant experience as QA Tester or similar roles.
- Experience in Design test strategy and Testing Planning
- Testing in Java APIs and Microservices.
- Design and execute test case development.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence and Agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of UAT standards and testing environment methodology.
- Knowledge and experience of SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Define guidelines to QA testers Team
- Perform manual testing cases.
- Schedules and executes tests as assigned reports defects and issues to the development team for correction re-tests once fixed validates corrected code.
- Tracks defects and conducts root cause analysis until resolution.
- Maintain effective communication with assigned projects and development teams.
- Support the continuous improvement process by proactively implementing actions to increase testing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Promote regular follow-up meetings and present results to stakeholders.
- Validate data.
