Brief Job Description:
The Senior Design Electrical Engineer will:
- Be at the forefront of designing the next generation of electrical energy systems for data centers and industrial applications. The data center power system infrastructure market is rapidly growing evolving driven by advancements in AI high-performance computing and sustainability requirements.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:

- Develop Project Designs for Power Systems: Design medium voltage and low voltage power infrastructure from the grid to the AI supercomputers tailored for modular data center solutions. Develop electrical power calculations single line schematics selectivity and load flow analysis technical specifications for MV and LV switchgears busway systems backup power systems transformers define MV/LV protection devices and design comprehensive electrical system 3D models for modular solutions.
- Work according to the highest international standards: Adhere to international national and company standards while integrating good engineering practices into the project designs.
- Coordinating and Communicating: Lead electrical system design and technical specification for MV and LV power system participate in meetings with the clients consultants suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical architectural structural controls and IT systems.
- Approving and Verifying Documentation: Review and approve technical electrical system documentation from subcontractors and provide technical approval for supplier offers. Ensure electrical system selection as per intended design and international national and company standards.
- Supporting and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and expertise during production construction assembly testing and commissioning. Work with manufacturing and site testing teams to resolve issues and ensure Vertiv quality and expertise.

Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications: -
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Software Skills: Revit AutoCAD EPLAN ETAP MS Office softwares are preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
- Technical expertise: Overall power system design from the grid to the consumers low voltage and medium voltage system design and specification selectivity protection studies power system equipment specification and selection.
