Role Overview

TWOnline Service teamis a dedicated engineering org for Coupang core business in Taiwan. The teamisworking withlocalbusiness stakeholders product team very closely to wow the customers and scale the business.We develop and maintain10 domains fromPre purchase domain Purchase to Post purchase domainto provide E2E service for customers. We leverageAIdistribute systemsto build mission-critical and highly scalable servicesto support business to be Top eCommerce platform inoversea market.

• Architect design and build scalable systems that will have a direct impact on customer acquisition experience conversion and retention

• Develop close relationships with Product and tech team in China and Korea

• Establish and execute short and long-term architectural roadmaps for the business

• Drive continuous improvement to the efficiency and flexibility of the platform and services while keeping high bar for customer trust performance and availability

BasicRequirements:

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent fields

• 10 years of industry experience of increasing responsibility leadinga group ofengineers5 years of experience in software development in large distributed systems web services and Javacapability

• Experience in designing and implementing high-concurrency high-availability and high-scalability systems;

• Familiar with distributed system architecture microservicearchitecture and design and message queue cache databaseetccore backend knowledge

• Growth mindset company-wide perspective. Focus on business problem solving and data-driven

• Strong competency in delivering results in an environment of rapidly changing requirements with appropriate trade-offs

• Strong sense of ownership urgency and dive deep

• Experience working closely with global distributed teams
