Test Automation Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer you will ensure the quality reliability and compliance of Qualitrols Smart Sensor products. You will develop automated test solutions execute product validation activities support manufacturing readiness and coordinate regulatory testing for electromechanical products.

• Develop and execute design verification and validation (DV&V) plans for smart sensor products.
• Design build and maintain automated test systems and scripts.
• Perform functional environmental reliability and compliance testing.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and support manufacturing validation.
• Develop test fixtures data acquisition systems and automated reporting tools.
• Support China-specific and global compliance requirements including coordination with external test labs.
• Analyze test results drive root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with Mechanical Electrical Firmware Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure product readiness and quality.

Required

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.
• 3 years of experience in product testing validation or test automation.
• Experience with electromechanical products sensors or embedded systems.
• Proficiency with Python LabVIEW or similar automation tools.
• Experience with AI tools
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with environmental EMC reliability or regulatory testing.
• Knowledge of FAI quality systems and manufacturing test processes.
• Experience working with China-based suppliers manufacturing teams or compliance agencies.
• Familiarity with Agile development and Jira.
