About the Role

The Reporting Analyst serves as a key finance partner for Precors China business providing management reporting financial analysis and performance insights to support business and leadership decisions. This role owns the end-to-end management reporting cycle including P&L analysis monthly and quarterly business reviews budget and forecast support and performance reporting across stores regions channels and product lines.

Working closely with Finance business leaders and global stakeholders the Reporting Analyst translates financial and operational data into clear actionable insights identifies key performance drivers and risks and continuously improves reporting processes tools and standards. The ideal candidate has a strong management reporting background commercial business acumen and experience working in a consumer retail or wholesale environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly quarterly and annual management reporting cycle including P&L analysis and business review materials providing clear insights into performance across the store network regions channels and product lines.
  • Support the Finance Head through the annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecast processes including data consolidation version control analytical review and preparation of final reporting deliverables.
  • Develop monthly business review materials management dashboards and performance reporting for local leadership while ensuring consistent and timely communication with regional and global headquarters.
  • Perform comprehensive variance and performance analysis across actuals budget and rolling forecasts with a focus on revenue gross margin cost structure OPEX profitability and operational KPIs. Identify key drivers and root causes and translate findings into clear actionable business insights.
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement across management reporting including reporting templates financial dimensions accounting logic KPI definitions and reporting processes to improve accuracy efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance SSC Finance Business Partners and other business functions to understand performance drivers and provide financial analysis that supports key business decisions including new store openings promotional initiatives and product portfolio strategy.
  • Partner effectively with regional and global stakeholders in English aligning reporting requirements communicating financial results and business performance and responding to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related disciplines; CPA / ACCA qualification is preferred.
  • 5 years progressive Management Reporting experience & analysis within consumer retail headquarters background preferred.
  • Solid track record in building management review packs performing full P&L variance analysis and delivering board-level reporting materials independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills experience with Power BI/dashboard tools is a strong plus; familiar with mainstream ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English for regular stakeholder communication.
  • Strong business acumen logical thinking high attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight month-end and quarter-end deadlines.
  • Proactive communication good cross-functional collaboration mindset comfortable working in an international fast-paced environment.
