Job Overview

JIKGU is Coupangs cross-border shopping service enabling customers in Korea and Taiwan to access a broad selection of high-quality products from the US China Japan EU with fast and reliable delivery.

As we continue to scale JIKGU with a strong focus on expanding selection and strengthening our supply ecosystem we are seeking a high-caliber Business Strategy & operation leader to define the cross-border Marketplace strategy and operating model. This role will own the Marketplace revamp plan shape market-specific strategies and clarify how key supply markets should compete complement and coexist within the broader Jikgu ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines e-commerce marketplace experience with a strong strategy consulting background and can translate ambiguous business questions into practical executable plans.

What You Will Do

• As the Business Strategy & Ops lead for Marketplace responsibilities include:

  • Define Marketplace strategy and operating model including how the 3P Marketplace should scale alongside Jikgus mature 1P business
  • Develop the Marketplace Revamp Plan outlining key growth levers priorities and execution roadmap
  • Design market-specific strategies for key supply regions (China Japan US) covering seller strategy assortment focus and operating approach
  • Drive core Marketplace growth levers with focus on:
  • Assortment & Selection category priorities supply gaps and differentiation
  • Seller Acquisition target seller segments acquisition strategy and onboarding approach
  • Seller Programs design seller programs to drive seller performances

  Partner cross-functionally with Commercial Operations Product/Tech and Supply Chain teams to translate strategy into execution and track performance

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in business strategy operations or analytical roles preferably within e-commerce marketplace cross border or top Internet companies
• Proven track record of structuring complex business problems and driving high-impact strategic initiatives
• Strong strategic thinking analytical rigor and sound business judgment
• Ability to translate strategy into executable plans in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
• Strong ownership mindset bias for action and ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align teams across business operations product and supply chain
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
