The job
AVEVA is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Recruiter to support the continued growth of our Product Portfolio Research & Development and technical teams in China.
The successful candidate will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies aligned with AVEVAs business and product portfolio priorities in China. Reporting to the APAC Talent Acquisition Leader this role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a range of software engineering product portfolio data AI and other technical positions.
The Senior Tech Recruiter will partner closely with business leaders hiring managers HR Business Partners and regional Talent Acquisition colleagues to understand workforce requirements build sustainable talent pipelines and deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring-manager experience.
Key responsibilities
Partner with R&D Product Portfolio and Engineering leaders to understand their organizational priorities workforce plans and technical hiring requirements in China.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions including role intake sourcing screening interview coordination candidate assessment offer management and hiring follow-up.
Develop tailored recruitment and sourcing strategies for commonly hired technical positions such as C# .NET and Angular Developers Cloud and DevOps Engineers Software Architects Product Managers Quality Assurance Engineers Data Engineers and AI-related professionals.
Build and maintain strategic talent pipelines to support both immediate hiring requirements and AVEVAs long-term growth in China.
Proactively identify and engage high-quality passive candidates through direct sourcing professional networks talent communities employee referrals and other relevant channels.
Provide guidance to hiring managers on talent availability candidate profiles assessment approaches interview practices and recruitment timelines.
Partner with internal sourcing teams recruitment agencies university recruitment teams and Early Careers colleagues to strengthen candidate pipelines.
Plan coordinate and participate in recruitment campaigns talent events university engagement activities and virtual or in-person recruitment drives.
Work with hiring managers and interviewers to improve interview quality candidate assessment consistency and recruitment decision-making.
Support the continuous improvement of recruitment processes including employee referral programs candidate communication interview management offer processes and recruitment reporting.
Provide regular market intelligence to business leaders and HR Business Partners including talent supply salary trends competitor hiring activity candidate expectations and significant movements within the China technology talent market.
Support AVEVAs diversity equity and inclusion priorities throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Participate in regional and global Talent Acquisition initiatives including employer branding recruitment technology process optimization university recruitment and diversity projects.
Monitor recruitment performance and provide relevant data and insights on sourcing effectiveness time to hire pipeline health offer acceptance and other key recruitment metrics.
Continuously improve the overall candidate experience and partner with HR Services and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
Essential requirements
More than 8 years of relevant recruitment experience with substantial experience recruiting for technical software engineering product portfolio or R&D positions.
Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Good understanding of software development (full stack) product portfolio management and commonly used technology disciplines and skill sets.
Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality technical recruitment within a multinational technology industrial software engineering software or enterprise software organization.
Proven ability to source attract engage and assess high-quality technical talent for complex and specialized positions.
Strong knowledge of the software engineering product portfolio cloud data and AI talent markets in China.
Experience recruiting across different technical functions and levels from individual contributors to senior technical specialists and people managers.
Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to establish trusted relationships with hiring managers business leaders HR Business Partners and regional or global teams.
Excellent candidate-management and communication skills with the ability to represent AVEVA professionally throughout the recruitment process.
Experience working with overseas hiring managers and within a cross-cultural matrixed organization.
Good working knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferably Workday together with experience using recruitment data and metrics to support decision-making.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong written and spoken English.
A proactive results-oriented and collaborative mindset with strong learning agility and the ability to manage multiple hiring priorities.
