Job Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the Cyclotron system design integration verification installation and lifecycle support of cyclotron-based medical imaging and radiopharmaceutical production systems. This role serves as a technical leader across multidisciplinary teams ensuring system performance reliability safety regulatory compliance and serviceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the system-level design and architecture of cyclotron subsystems translating product requirements into technical specifications.
* Perform system integration verification and validation activities including test plan development and execution.
* Conduct root cause analysis of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software hardware clinical and regulatory departments.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications test reports and risk assessments.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends in medical imaging and system engineering.
* Ensure compliance with relevant medical device regulations (e.g. FDA CE) and quality management systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Physics Systems Engineering Nuclear Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience with cyclotrons particle accelerators medical imaging systems radiopharmaceutical production equipment or other high-energy physics systems is highly preferred.

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience including significant experience in complex system development.

• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product lifecycle management.

• Experience of leading technical investigations and root cause analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Project leadership demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
