The < (Senior) Product Specialist- Consumable > for Cytiva is responsible for < driving the growth and success of Cytiva s consumables portfolio by providing technical and scientific expertise to both internal and external stakeholders. This role serves as a key partner to the commercial team delivers product training and application support to customers and works strategically with channel partners to accelerate demand generation customer adoption and market share expansion.>

This position is part of the < D&M modality team> located in <Shanghai >. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide technical and scientific support to the commercial team throughout the sales process.
  • Deliver product demonstrations customer training programs and application-focused workshops.
  • Troubleshoot product and application-related issues ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer concerns.
  • Develop strong relationships with end users key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders to support business growth.
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners to execute growth strategies and expand market coverage.
  • Identify market opportunities customer needs and competitive dynamics to drive demand generation initiatives.
  • Support new product launches and marketing activities by providing technical expertise and market insights.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Marketing Product Management to ensure outstanding customer experience.
  • Contribute to the achievement of revenue market share and business growth objectives within the assigned territory.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Masters degree or above in Life Sciences Biotechnology Biochemistry Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of bioprocessing protein purification chromatography filtration cell culture or related life science applications.
  • Excellent presentation communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into practical customer solutions.
  • Experience working with distributors/channel partners is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated results-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to travel
