Senior Product Quality Manager, Amazon Private Brand

Amazon Private Brands Quality Management team is looking for a smart hard-working and creative member to join our team. The successfulcandidate will show excellent judgment and instincts in decision making andproactively and continually improve their level of knowledge aboutAmazons business its platform and relevant technologies. This is anexciting and challenging position that provides quality support as a Subject Matter Expert in the Shenzhen Amazonoffice to ensure successful adherence with customer satisfaction and worldwide product andconsumer safety requirements.

The position is responsible for Amazons worldwide quality program for Hardline categories focusing in the quality area. By supporting quality improvement approaches while creatinginnovative solutions that move at internet speed. This position will havean opportunity to apply SME level knowledge in new and exciting are looking for a talented SME Quality Manager who has direct experience with manufacturing operations Manufacturer qualification Inspections and Audits testing and quality strategies to support our rapidlygrowing and evolving business.



Key job responsibilities
- Applying SME level knowledge of quality strategies and processes in multiple product categories by engagement with contract manufacturers and Original design manufacturer
- Develop best-in-class New Product for Amazon Private Brands
- Develop best-in-class processes and systems and drive continual improvement
- Manage New Product ramp post-launch
- Drive scalable business solutions which ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate technical quality and process requirements to non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor and train vendors to improve quality and customer satisfaction performance


- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering material engineering mechanical engineering or related fields
- Knowledge of process improvement and quality measures
- Experience mentoring coaching and influencing colleagues collaborators and stakeholders
- Experience managing and delivering product quality or testing
- Experience in project and program management
- Experience in identifying a customer need building a product to meet that need and launching that product
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Experience working with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
- Speak write and read fluently in English and have the ability to take direction in English
- Experience in a highly agile environment
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

- Experience in tech electronics consumer goods or other fast-paced technology-driven businesses
- Experience working proactively and independently meeting deadlines and delivering on projects and tasks
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership
- Can work proactively and independently meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks
- Knowledge of process improvement ideally including Lean Kaizen and Six Sigma
