Senior FP&A Analyst

As the AB Senior FP&A Analyst you will provide dedicated business partnership to the AB business team driving long-term sustainable business development. You will lead financial planning and analysis activities for the AB segment deliver critical insights to support decision-making and act as a key financial advisor to the AB Managing Director.

You will be based in Shanghai and report directly to Finance Director

More about the role:

In this role you will serve as the finance business partner for the AB business unit ensuring financial discipline while enabling commercial growth.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the regular budgeting and RF (rolling forecast) process for AB partnering closely with the AB Managing Director. Drive inventory run-out planning identify business opportunities and proactively highlight risks to management.
• Management Reporting & Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive management reporting and financial performance analysis for the AB business providing actionable insights to optimize P&L outcomes.
• Strategic Project Support: Lead strategic projects including but not limited to local manufacturing initiatives. Perform financial assessments ROI modeling and long-term outlook analysis to support investment and resource allocation decisions.
• P&L Oversight: Take full ownership of the AB P&L monitoring key drivers and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Corporate FP&A Backup: Serve as backup for China Corporate FP&A role when needed ensuring continuity across the broader finance function.

More about you:

• Graduate or post-graduate degree from a reputable institution. Degree in Accounting Finance Business or Management is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of finance-related experience with at least 3 years in FP&A or FBP roles. Experience in FMCG or healthcare MNCs is a plus.
• Strong financial knowledge with solid experience in budgeting forecasting and P&L management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multi-functional teams.
• Balanced and subtle working style with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP BW Cognos and other ERP/BI systems. Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
