Senior Factory Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and meeting all key manufacturing metrics such as Variable Cost of Production (VCP) Product Quality performance (COPQ) Cost of Product Quality (OTD) On Time Delivery & Environmental Health Safety and Security metrics.
• Supervise shop floor personnel throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage outsourcing companies and workers working in Zhenjiang facility.
• Manage the sub-contract companies working at Zhenjiang facility.
• Ensure full utilization of equipment materials and personnel to achieve maximum output.
• Coordinate with Scheduler/Planner to meet customer demands and ship dates.
• Manage the training of all production staff to achieve zero delivered quality defects.
• Manage a diverse production workforce consisting of machinists hand-skill employees and professional staff of supervision manufacturing and production planning.
• Reviews and updates daily time sheets based on planned hours.

• Reviews & maintains tool room operation and supplies.

• Monitor and evaluate internal and external production processes examine products to determine the quality ensure a company-wide commitment to Quality and engage with customers and gather product feedback.
• Manage a small team across internal and external production that assures compliance to applicable quality standards specifications company policies and regulations.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive manufacturing or project engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Core Competency: Demonstrated ability in interfacing with sales clients and suppliers to solve problems and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English capability is written and spoken.
• Preferred/Plus:
• Experience in industrial process plants especially with package projects.
• An advanced technical degree (MSc or MEng in an engineering discipline).
