Job Summary

Purpose of the Position

Lead the development and execution of the South regions External Affairs agenda. Build and maintain strategic relationships with government authorities and key industry associationsparticularly the China Spirits Associationto drive business alignment policy advocacy and corporate reputation.

  • undefinedundefinedServe as a key problem-solver addressing company and business-related challenges by building and maintaining strategic government & industry relationships to drive effective resolutions.Establish and sustain strong relationships with local government bodies including commerce market regulation taxation customs and development and reform -lead compliance-related approvals filings and licensing processes with government Manage strategic partnerships with industry associations (e.g. China Spirits Association) actively participating in meetings forums and standard-setting initiatives to align with industry peers and advocate for policy improvements.Policy Research & External Affairs IntelligenceMonitor and interpret the South regions relevant policies and regulations providing timely insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders. Gather industry intelligence competitive insights and policy trends through association networks. Identify public/external issues that may impact the companys reputation or operations and support the development of proactive response strategies. Provide government relations and policy environment assessments to support new projects and business expansion initiatives.Corporate Image and maintain the companys visibility.Lead the companys participation in awards recognitions and accreditation programs to enhance corporate image. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal PR & Communications Marketing Sales and Operations to ensure alignment between external engagement activities and business goals.Project & Event ManagementPlan and oversee high-level events including government or association-hosted summits signing ceremonies and industry conferences. Manage official visits inspections and high-stakes meetings with government officials and association representatives. Ensure end-to-end execution of external affairs projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in International Relations Public Policy Business Administration or a related field.Experience:At least 7 years of experience in external affairs government relations or association management in a multinational environment.Capabilities:Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills to build and maintain genuine lasting relationships. Practical and execution-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and advocacy abilities with a focus on authenticity. High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance. Good command of oral and written English. Highly driven well organized and a collaborative team player.
