We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist (AI Platform Backend Engineer)

Principal responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of backend modules in the AI Platform Portal including requirement analysis solution design implementation and release support.
• Design build and maintain backend APIs and service interfaces to provide stable support for frontend and downstream integrations.
• Participate in core data modeling and service architecture design to ensure scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product frontend and AI backend teams to drive requirement delivery and ensure smooth cross-team integration.
• Continuously improve platform stability observability and exception handling to raise overall service quality.

Requirements

• 5 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python.
• Proficient with mainstream web frameworks (e.g. FastAPI Flask Django) with solid experience in RESTful API and GraphQL API design and development.
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL databases including usage and optimisation; plus BigQuery (or other OLAP databases) data modeling and query optimisation experience.
• Proficient in containerisation and delivery toolchains (Docker Kubernetes CI/CD Helm) with familiarity in basic workflows on at least one major cloud platform for deployment and log troubleshooting.
• Strong end-to-end ownership mindset with the ability to drive execution independently coordinate stakeholders manage risks and deliver outcomes; good English communication skills.
