(Senior) Application Developer SAP Sustainability Footprint Management

What youll do:

SAP provides leading solutions to help our customers to run sustainable businesses. While sustainability covers various dimensions carbon emissions are certainly one of the most discussed aspects these days. Thats why we develop a cloud native solution called SAP Sustainability Footprint Management to enable companies to easily calculate and analyze carbon footprint on product and corporate level.

The Role:

We are looking for a (Senior) Application Developerwith cloud native application development focus high aspirations towards code quality and a sense for good software designplus deep understanding cutting edge AI technologies including LLMs.

• Responsible for development focusing on design coding testing quality assurance of complex product features in a development team. Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues.
• Shows initiative and drives topics to resolution in a high level of quality speed reliability and efficiency.
• Works closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success.
• Constantly improves own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
• Has advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization

Skills Required

• Advanced technicaland special knowledge in one / several areas
• Typically several years experience with increasing amount of responsibility
• Proficiency in developing and implementing AI embedded solutions with a focus on advanced techniques including vector databases LLMs and NLP.
• Master or bachelors degree in computer science or relevant information technology area.
• Strong coding skills in at least one of languages such as JS/TS NodeJS HTML5 React VUE etc.
• Embrace the Agile process be self-empowered take ownership of and responsibility for your work
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skill

Good To have

• Familiarity with SAP and related technologies including SAP cloud application programming model SAP HANA databases and SAP Business Technology Platform.
