The Senior Accountant plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting fixed asset accounting month-end closing activities compliance and continuous process improvement initiatives.

This position reports to the Controller and is part of the Finance & Accounting SSC team located in Chuansha Pudong District Shanghai.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports in compliance with corporate and statutory requirements.
• Manage month-end close activities including accruals prepayments and journal entries.
• Maintain fixed asset records including capitalization depreciation transfers disposals and annual asset verification.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support management requests as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience preferably in a multinational manufacturing company.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end closing processes.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Detail-oriented proactive and a strong team player.
