Robotics and Lab Automation Intern (Computer Vision)

We are looking for:

• A student who is skilled in one or several areas of automationrobotics mechatronics to support research laboratories in the development of automated platforms.

We count on you for:

• Support the Research and development activities of image processing machine learning or machine vision algorithms based on laboratory application scenarios;
• Assist in the design and construction of laboratory image processing and machine vision system platforms;
• Responsible for project code testing and technical documentation writing;
• Other temporary tasks as Manager requires.

You will bring:

• Bachelors degree or above with a background in mathematics image processing computer engineering software engineering or related fields (not limited to these majors);
• Familiar with Python or C programming languages with a solid foundation in computer science and the ability to program independently;
• Experience in image processing development familiarity with the OpenCV algorithm library knowledge of machine learning applications in image processing and experience with common image segmentation and object detection algorithms are preferred;
• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English and strong team spirit;
• Experience in chemical laboratories and/or with image or vision-related hardware is preferred;
• Able to intern at least 4 days per week; long-term interns are preferred ideally for more than 6 months.
