Step into a dynamic role where problem-solving meets customer satisfaction as an RMA this position youll be the crucial link in handling customer product returnsreceiving them processing the necessary documentation and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate manufacturing line.
The ideal candidate thrives by balancing multiple tasks while maintaining clear and timely communication with sales customer support and production teams. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer service will be key in tracking and managing RMAs throughout the process. Reporting to the RMA Manager this role is based at our Family Park location in Shanghai. Ready to make an impact Join us in delivering top-notch solutions to our customers!
Specifically this role will:
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Conducts visual receiving inspection to ensure incoming products meet expectation i.e. quantity part number.
- Reviews and receives incoming shipments and verify quantity and other identifying information against the receiving paperwork. i.e customer name RMA number PO number.
- Creates RMA notes and production order. Moves RMA to proper value stream.
- Follows up with CS for updates from technicians and relays all required and prudent information in a timely.
- Updates RMA notes as information flows back from CS team.
- Verifies technician notes and parts along with quantity used to fix RMA are in RMA notes correctly.
- Verify production job is closed and assign raw material to the job to backflush inventory prior to releasing for shipment.
- Verify all material is together and prepare shipment for release to the warehouse team.
- Sorts and process scrap on a weekly basis.
- Assists and supports the CS department in the professional and timely response to inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Our ideal candidate should bring experience and knowledge and possess the following:
- Minimum 1-year related factory experience (Good fresh graduate can be considered)
- College diploma or above qualification; CET-4 holder is preferred.
- A major in Chemistry Engineering Optics Mechanical or equivalent is a must.
- Strong attention to detail ability to multi-task and ability to work alone with close ties to multiple teams.
- Team player with a can (and will) do attitude.
- Able to work with little or no supervision.
- Electro-Optical assembly background a plus.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize activities within an environment of fast-paced periods of competing deadlines and fluctuating workload.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office (WordExcelOutlook).
